If you are in any way thinking to make an appetizer to go with your meal/menu, let that be a salad as they are so satisfying, healthy, and wholesome. Salads are an essential part of every meal. The meals are incomplete without a bowl of salad on the spread. This one is an absolute best! I had made with few other versions but this one never left the spread ever since.

The ingredients used in the dressing of the salad are easily available and when combined together they just blend so well and the result is everlasting. You can't have enough of it. Without wasting any more time, let's get started with the Caesar salad.

  • 400g free-range chicken breast

  • Organic lettuce and rocket

  • A handful of organic radish

  • 3-4 bread slices

  • 100g parmesan cheese

  • Salt, olive oil


  • 3 garlic cloves

  • few organic mini chili peppers

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. honey

  • 2 tbsp. lime juice

  • 1/2 tsp. lime zest

  • 1 tbsp. mustard


Preparing the greens-

  1. Prepare your cutting board and a plate.

  2. Take the lettuce, remove the stem, and slice onto minor parts.

  3. Slice & dice a handful of organic radish.

  4. All transfer to the plate for later.

  5. Do not forget about rocket leaves. Do not chop it.

  6. Slice the bread onto 3-4 slices.


  1. Prepare your grinder or your pestle and mortar.

  2. Smash 3 garlic cloves. Toss into the grinder.

  3. Also, toss few organic mini chili peppers into the grinder.

  4. Salt it.

  5. Grind well!

  6. Add 2 tbsp. of olive oil, 1 tbsp. of honey and 2 tbsp. of lime juice.

  7. Mix well!

  8. Add 1 tbsp. of mustard and mix well again!

Chicken and Bread

  1. Preheat the grill.

  2. Rub the chicken with salt and pepper and slice it into half and grill it for a few minutes.

  3. Grill 3-4 bread slices for 1 min. You can also toast the bread slices.

  4. Grate bread slices with the garlic clove.


  1. Slice the grilled bread & breasts onto minor slices.

  2. Make layers: lettuce+rocket, chicken, lettuce, chicken&bread.

  3. Finish off with dressing, rocket, sliced radish, and 100g of parmesan cheese.

Recipe Tip-

  • You can add your favorite mushrooms to this recipe.

  • You can pan fry the chicken instead of the grill.
