QUICK & EASY OVERNIGHT OATS

Amidst the Life’s busyness we all look for ways to quicken our chores. Be it work, chores or food for instance. Having to cook something that’s requires the minimal work, minimal ingredients but gives you the maximum satisfaction is nothing more than a Blessing! Yes!! It’s so true.


I’ve finally found that secret recipe to cooking for myself and my family a healthy yummy quick and easy make Ahead breakfast meal in absolutely no time, using the simplest of ingredients available at home. The hero being the OATS! Oh yes, Oats have become the new staple food in my home.



Oats have fiber and are healthy and helps to go a long way until lunchtime. It can also be used as a meal replacement. It’s extremely satisfying and you can always make it the way you heart it.


I am sharing 6 different ways I make my simple and quick overnights Oats. The next morning all you need to do is add in a little extra milk, mix it well and your breakfast is ready. You can also blend the oats and make yourself a morning Oatshake which I personally think is amazing. If by any means you find it boring to chew on them just make yourself a delicious smoothie and you’ll love it.



I enjoy having them blended as it ensures the complete intake of the serving prepared.

You may also add a scoop of your protein powder to the oats and boost yourself with some extra protein.

Avoid using sweetener. Using honey, stevia or any natural sweeteners are preferable.

And for the milk, I used Almond milk. You can use any other flavor too or even go with the regular milk. Totally your choice.

Recipes listed below can be altered to your liking. Adjust the ingredients as per your desired taste.


1. COCOA-COFFEE OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 1/2 tsp coffee

  • 1 1/2 tsp cocoa powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2-3 Dates chopped

  • 1 cup Almond milk


2. VANILLA BLUEBERRY OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1/4 cup Vanilla Greek yogurt

  • A handful of fresh Blueberries

  • 1 tbsp sliced/chopped almonds

  • 1 cup Almond milk


3.COCO-NUTTY OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup dry coconut

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 2 tbsp sliced/chopped almonds

  • 2 tbsp hazelnut butter

  • 1 cup Almond milk


4. APPLE-PIE OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 1 tsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp flax seeds

  • 2 tsp Almond butter

  • A quarter Apple chopped

  • 1 cup Almond milk


5. BANANA BREAD OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 mashed banana

  • A handful of chopped pecans

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • Dash of salt

  • 1 tsp flax seeds

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 cup Almond milk


Quick & Easy Overnight Oats

6.BROWNIE-BATTER OVERNIGHT OATS

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp whole rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 scoop of Protein powder

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 tbsp walnuts

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 2 cups Almond milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix the ingredients well and place the jars in the fridge for over four hours or preferably overnight.

  2. Add extra milk if required before eating as per your desired consistency.



The base is same for all the recipes. Oats and chia seed. I make sure to incorporate chia seeds in almost all my oats recipes. Adding seeds in meals is quite beneficial as they provide essential health benefits.
